Job Corps Enrollment Status Update
Apr 25, 2013
This April 23, 2013 update appears on the Job Corps webpage:
Job Corps is happy to announce the lifting of the student enrollment suspension that began in January 2013. The suspension was a cost-saving measure implemented by the Department of Labor as a necessary step to ensure that Job Corps operates within its budget this year and in the future.

For students and potential students, this means we are now accepting applications for those interested in enrolling in Job Corps. If you were previously enrolled in Job Corps and left to receive medical treatment or were on standby to enter an Advanced Training program, you will receive first priority upon return. If you applied for Job Corps before the suspension, we have your application. We're reviewing it once more and will be in contact soon. Those applications will be processed first.

To learn more about enrolling in Job Corps, call (800) 733-JOBS [(800) 733-5627] or read the FAQs at http://recruiting.jobcorps.gov/en/faqs.aspx or facebook.com/doljobcorps. If you'd like to check the status of your application, please call (800) 733-JOBS [(800) 733-5627].
